Expert in biogas plants

In his capacity as a publicly appointed and sworn expert, Torsten Fischer prepares expert reports, e.g. for courts and insurance companies. On 24th March 2009 he was sworn in as the first publicly appointed expert in the field of biogas by the Chamber of Engineers of Lower Saxony. Currently he bears this protected title and has received a certificate, ID card and official seal from the President of the Chamber of Engineers of Lower Saxony as proof of this. The public appointment is a distinction bestowed on highly-qualified experts, set out in legislation. It is not a job title, but a term used to express a special qualification.

As a publicly appointed expert, Torsten Fischer excels due to his:

  • Particular level of expertise
  • Trustworthiness
  • Duty of confidentiality
  • Duty to maintain and advance his skills
  • Impartiality and objectivity

Torsten Fischer is therefore one of the few sworn experts in biogas plants across Germany. As a specialist and expert in his field of competence of biogas, he produces expert assessments for courts, authorities, insurance companies, lawyers and consumers.

On 19th July 2016, Raphael Thies was sworn in as publicly appointed expert on biogas plants by Lower Saxony’s Chamber of Engineers. Mr. Thies has already, in the forefront, been writing expert’s reports for plant operators and insurance companies for some years. Now the courts will be able to fall back on his expertise and experience as well.
