And once again, it's clear how important biogas is to the ethanol industry.

The 20th edition of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit brought together numerous experts from around the world at the Community Choice Convention Center in downtown Des Moines. They exchanged ideas on various topics related to the biofuels industry in discussion panels on January 25, 2022.

Raphael Thies was also a guest at the Summit during his recent business trip to the United States. As managing director of Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH, he talked about our outstanding work on an integrated biogas and bioethanol production plant in Rio Cuarto, Argentina, and met with open ears. After all, for the ethanol producer, this is a proven solution for generating energy from thin stillage that can meet their own needs for electricity and heat, and further reduce the carbon intensity of biofuels like ethanol. For this project, we received the AD & Biogas industry Award 2020, organized by the World Biogas Association.

And many thanks to our partners Kyle Althoff with Equinox LLC and Loreen Steenhoek with LYS Enterprises for their great support and organization.
