Biogas plant Dinteloord (The Netherlands) is one of SUIKER UNIE GREEN ENERGY’s three biogas plants used to digest residues from the sugar industry. Dinteloord is already operating under full load. 1.000.000 m³ of biogas has already been produced, upgraded, and fed into the gas grit. All components of the plant are approved and in operation. The second biogas plant constructed to digest residues from the sugar industry is located in Groningen (The Netherlands) and is in the testing phase. The third plant is located in Anklam (Germany), its construction started in 2012. With all three biogas plants in operation, Suiker Unie will be the largest biomethane producer in the Netherlands.
