"When I work, I want to give something back".

This guiding principle has shaped Jannis Pahlke since his year abroad in New Zealand. The question arose: "Environment or people?". The answer was: "Why not combine". With increase of a lasting handling of the environment also a constant improvement of the living conditions of humans goes along.

The step in this direction was taken by the bachelor's degree program in "Ecological Agriculture" offered by the University of Kassel at the Witzenhausen site. In addition to the fields of ecology and sustainability, the study was accompanied by political work with refugees.

The next stage is the master's degree program Renewable Resources and Regenerative Energies at HAWK Göttingen. To ensure that what has been learned is applied in practice, we are pleased to welcome Jannis Pahlke as a master's degree candidate since August 2022. "Because I consider a sustainable fusion of biology and technology to be forward-looking."
