Edina Ringleben-Fricke has been awarded the Germany Scholarship for the current funding year.
Congratulations! Here at Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH, we are delighted to have the opportunity to support her. Once again this year, our company is helping to strengthen the Göttingen region by supporting the Germany Scholarship at HAWK Göttingen.
Edina is pursuing a Master's degree in 'Green Engineering: Sustainable Energy and Process Engineering for the Bioeconomy' at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HAWK) in Göttingen. The programme provides in-depth engineering expertise in the sustainable use of bio-based resources and forward-looking energy and heat supply systems.
Further information about the degree programme can be found here.
Edina chose this field of study because environmental protection is very important to her, and she wants to actively contribute to making the world more sustainable and environmentally friendly. In particular, she is interested in improving the efficiency of energy and heat supply systems.
Beyond her studies, Edina is highly engaged: She sings in the Unicante choir of the Göttingen Student Services and is part of the organisational team. She also volunteers in youth work and accompanies holiday camps, including a girls' camp on a farm, as well as supporting technical and STEM activities. Recently, she helped young people to build and programme a robot during the Easter holidays. Her goal is to inspire children and teenagers to consider future careers in STEM fields.
We are very pleased to support Edina Ringleben-Fricke in her future academic and professional endeavours.
