Since its foundation 25 years ago, our engineering office has made a proud contribution to the energy transition with over 165 biogas plants planned and built. This success is the result of many years of experience, a hands-on approach, cooperation and team spirit and a clear vision for the future.

As we remain committed to developing sustainable solutions for the biogas industry, we also look back at some key milestones from recent years: At the end of 2024, after 25 years, we said goodbye to our company founders Torsten Fischer and Andreas Krieg, who built up and decisively shaped the company together. We sincerely thank them for their many years of commitment and the fundamental decisions that have made Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH a leading planning office in the biogas industry.

Since fall 2023, PlanET Biogas Group GmbH has enriched our company as a strong shareholder, and Raphael Thies has joined us as managing partner. This partnership underlines our long-standing market position and supports us in continuing to realize innovative projects in a customer-oriented manner. Raphael Thies, who has been managing director for eight years, ensures stability with his experience and reliability. Together with our dedicated team - consisting of long-standing employees and new colleagues - we are continuing the successful work of the last 25 years.

The appointment of Britta Zimmermann as an authorized signatory just over a year ago strengthened the management.  She has been in a leading role since 2022 and involves actively in shaping the strategic and operational direction of our company. Together with Raphael Thies, she is working to achieve our goals and lead the company efficiently into the future. “I see the power of attorney as a vote of confidence and look forward to continuing to shape the future of Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH together with our team,” explains Britta.
