We have been involved in the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship for several years to support talented and committed students - including in the 2024/25 funding year.

This year's scholarship holder, Maha Chouket, is studying for a Master's degree in Renewable Resources and Renewable Energies at HAWK. Her enthusiasm for energy and nature as well as her goal of contributing to the development of sustainable energy solutions are reflected in her choice of study. “The topic of sustainability is dear to me and I want to develop innovative solutions for the energy supply of the future,” she explains.

She chose Göttingen as a place to study because of its impressive academic history and inspiring atmosphere. In addition to her studies, she is passionate about psychology and enjoys spending her free time in nature, be it hiking, cycling or exploring new places.
