Advancing a new stage of construction!

New York State, USA: In parallel with the optimizations of an existing biogas plant of a leading developer of renewable energy projects in North America, which have been ongoing for a year, we are now entering the next stage: the planning of a new plant with gas conditioner.

Thanks to the redesign and optimization of existing heating systems, biogas production can be increased by 25% without having to invest in additional digester volume. The next step is the design and development of a new digester with a 25% larger capacity and a gas conditioner. When completed, this plant will ferment cattle manure into carbon-bonded biomethane. This will ease the burden on farms in the region, reduce emissions, and help attain climate goals. The RNG (Renewable Natural Gas) produced is fed into the gas grid, which supplies households, industry and farms with thermal energy and electricity; this results in climate-neutral energy production.

This project is one success story among many, as our competent team is active on site in more than 40 countries worldwide and maintains long-term partnerships with its customers. This is why Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH has been planning, creating and building customized biogas plants with its know-how for more than 30 years.
