We wish to thank the German Management Academy of Lower Saxony (DMAN), for the opportunity to take part in their project on sustainable waste management they are implementing as part of the cooperation between the Department of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Tyumen Oblast, Russia, and the Lower Saxony Ministry for the Environment, Energy, Building and Climate Protection. It was our pleasure to virtually meet officials and company representatives from Tyumen Oblast last week and to discuss biogas technology, different concepts of biogas plants and its utilisation and benefits.

We also shared experiences from our first reference in Russia, Belgorod biogas plant. This was the first industrial anaerobic digestion plant in Russia. It converts corn silage, sewage sludge, slaugtherhouse sludge and pig manure into 19 Mio. kWh of electricity per year. This is enough to provide green electricity for approx. 10.000 households. Take a look at video and technical data on this plant via the link bellow
