Expending our activities in Ukraine and continuing successful cooperation with our partner there, Ecodevelop, we have signed a contract for 1MW biogas plant located in Vodoti, 100 km west of Kiev. This biogas plant is designed to process 45.500 tons of cow manure, curd whey and corn silage per year, with annual biogas production of 3.827.000 m³. Main features of the plant include reception via reception pit for curd whey and solid input device, choice of a digester with a height of 18 m and a volume of a 4.800 m³ as glass coated steel tank with central agitator, secondary digester with site mounted mixers and 1.660 m³ double membrane gas holder roof, solids separation, activated carbon filter, mesophilic operation. Biogas produced will power the 1MW CHP unit. Start up of this plant is planned for December 2021, the system operator will be Biowatt. .
