Andreas
Krieg Andreas Krieg planned and constructed his first biogas plant in 1986. At that time he was still a student. He kept on working in biogas business and finished his diploma work about chicken manure digestion in Tunisia, Africa. Starting in 1991 he worked for several engineering offices in Germany. Between 1991 and 1998 he planned and constructed more than 30 biogas plants, mainly for agricultural purpose. These references are located mainly in Germany but also in Lithuania, Slovakia and Seychelles. In addition he was responsible for many studies, investigations and trials in Ghana, Thailand, Ukraine and many countries more. He finished his last job in 1998 and became founder and 50%-owner of Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH in 1999. Following structural shifts, 2006 the Big Dutchman became 50%-owner. Torsten
Fischer Torsten Fischer was working as assistant engineer at Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg when he started a Research & Development Project in anaerobic digestion. This was in 1993. In 1995 he began to work in industry and was busy in industrial-scale biogas plants. Until 1998 he was responsible for process technology, quotation, engineering and construction of big biogas plants. The focus of his work were big centralised co-fermentation plants as well as plants for biowaste and kitchen waste. He finished his last job in 1998 and became founder and 50%-owner of Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH in 1999. In 1998 the ATV appointed him as a member of the ATV-working group "Vergärung" [digestion] and in 2002 as a member of the ATV-working group "Biogasspeicherung" [biogas storage]. Henrik
Harmssen
Henrik
is a Process Engineer; he finished his studies 1988 in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
Since that time he worked in several research institutes and companies,
always focusing on the field of anaerobic technology. He joined Krieg
& Fischer Ingenieure GmbH in 1999 as a design and project engineer, providing
specialist expertise in the field of anaerobic process technology. From
2004 to 2007 he worked in New Zealand - of course in the field of biogas,
too.

Birgit Osang
Birgit manage the accountancy, she is responsible for the payments. As she is involved for this or that reason in every project (for example she writes all the invoices!) Birgit is supposed to have a very good overview.

Heike Gloger Heike Gloger is a charming new asset of the secretariat’s team. After finishing her studies in Geography at the University in Goettingen, followed by a further training in event managements, she starts in June 2007 at Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH. Garnet Wachsmann Since 1999 Garnet had worked as scientific officer at the University of Göttingen. She presented the results of the "Bioenergie Village Jühnde" - a village near Göttingen -which tries to produce the heat and electricity for the whole village with biomass. She started to work for Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH in 2004. She organises the part of marketing, for example the homepage and the advanced training of the operators of plant. Andrzej Krupka Andrzej is a graduate process engineer. He studied at the Technical University of Berlin. His first practice he got at the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe the famous research centre. Vadim Lichtner In addition to his
original professional training as a mining engineer in Kazakhstan and
after a very interesting and diversified curriculum vitae Vadim Lichtner
finished a further study and got a final degree as a constructional engineer
in Kassel/Osnabrueck. Following his studies Vadim was active as a constructional
engineer in the range of building construction over 6 years. |

Michael Rohde Following his training
as a carpenter, Michael studied at the Hildesheim University of Applied
Science and Art Civil Engineering, which he successfully completed 1994.
He spent eleven years working for a medium-sized building company. |

Daniel Liebing Daniel studied at
the Leipzig University of Applied Science civil engineering, which he
successfully completed 2003. He spent three years working for a medium-sized
building company as site manager. |

Melanie Legero Melanie studied
process engineering at the University of Applied Science in Osnabrück.
After study Melanie began directly in a planning office for biogas, covering
dumping ground and contaminated soil. |

Dr. Katharina Backes In addition to her
technical schooling of agricultural Katharina studied biology at the University
of Göttingen. She finishes her dissertation in ecophysiology of plants.
For two years she held a postdoc-position in Japan. |

Matthias Meise Matthias is a graduate
construction engineer. He studied at the Technical University of Hannover,
where he graduated in 1996. Following his study, he spent eleven years
working for a medium sized, later for a big sized building company as
sales and project engineer. |

Raphael Thies In 2001 Raphael
graduated in electronics technician in Bremen. After his education he
studied geoecology at the Technical University of Braunschweig where he
finished in 2007. Following his studies he started an internship at Krieg
& Fischer Ingenieure GmbH. |

Katrin Kayser Katrin studied environmental
engineering at the Brandenburg Technical University in Cottbus, where
she graduated in 2003. During a nine month stay in Vietnam she started
to work in the field of biogas. Before starting at Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure
GmbH in April 2008 she was employed at a biogas consulting company for
two years and a half. |

Gabriele Keydel Already during her
studies Gaby was occupied with the engineering of biogas plants. She completed
her degree at the Technical University in Höxter 1997. Following she spend
one year in Brasil. Gaby worked already at Krieg & Fischer from 2001 to
2004. Then she took her child-raising leave. |

Martina Schreiber Martina Schreiber started her career as a language correspondence clerk before completing her qualifications with a degree in management assistant in wholesale and foreign trade. She subsequently clerked for 15 years in a wholesale company. In February 2009, she began her current support role to the office team at Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure. |

David Capdevila David is a graduate civil engineer. He studied at the Griffith University, Australia, where he graduated in 1999 with first class honours. Since then, he has worked as a project and construction manager and engineer in predominantly large and medium sized companies on civil, edification and rehabilitation works in Australia and Spain.

Jose Herrera Jose is a graduate civil engineer. He studied at the Central University in Venezuela, where he graduated in 2002. Since then, he has worked in Spain as a project engineer in companies on waste water treatment, urbanization works and road construction. Additionally he completed various postgraduate courses at the polytechnic Universities of Madrid and Catalonia in project management.

Sebastian Steffens Sebastian studied "Bachelor of Engineering" (department of solid waste water management) at the University of Applied Sciences Ostwestfalen-Lippe postdoc to the education of an industrial mechanic. He passed his bachelor thesis "Development of a start-up concept for an anaerobic digestion plant for residues from sugar production" which he successfully completed 2011.

Christine Ahlborn Christine is a graduate civil engineer. She studied first at the universities of applied sciences Gießen-Friedberg environmental and hygienetechnic. After a break for family care, she graduated 2011 her Master of Engineering "Nachwachsende Rohstoffe Erneuerbare Energien" in Göttingen.
